Niko — meaning "smile" in Japanese — which ties back to where I first found my inspiration for art.

What is Liquid Metal?
Liquid metal is real metal in liquid form — a coating made by suspending genuine metal particles in a liquid binder, then applying it to the surface.
But the finish you see is only the final step of a demanding process. Achieving that quality takes hours of hands-on labor: layer upon layer is carefully sprayed onto the surface, built up gradually to create depth and richness. Each layer is then meticulously sanded by hand to reveal and refine the metal's true character, before being polished — often through multiple rounds — until the surface achieves the clarity, shine, or patina I'm after. Depending on the finish, patina and oxidization techniques are also applied to age or color the metal naturally.
Making a new piece is never automatic — it's organic, quite personal, and delicate. Every choice is intentional, every texture is deliberate, every form is considered — I have an intimate understanding of the material.
